New Managing Director Tapped for NU Forum

Susan Peterson was chosen to be managing director of The Forum for People Performance Management and Measurement, bringing with her an extensive background in nonprofits' operations.

The Forum for People Performance Management and Measurement has added Susan Peterson as managing director. She has the task of working with trustees to develop a research agenda that looks at 21st Century workforce issues and how people-focused management practices will foster success for businesses and organizations, according to a news release from the center, which is located in Naperville, Ill., and is a research center within the Medill Integrated Marketing Communications graduate program at Northwestern University.

Susan Peterson is managing director of The Forum for People Performance Management and Measurement.Peterson has 24 years' experience with nonprofits, having served during her career as membership director, administrative director, communications director, and volunteer coordinator. Her most recent experience was as an account executive for Association Enterprise (AE), Inc., according to the release. She is executive director for the Association for Girl Scout Executive Staff and has her own graphic design business.

Peterson is a graduate of Rochester Community and Technical College in Rochester, Minn.
