Vaccine financing and safety are also to be discussed at the June 2-3 public meeting in Washington, D.C., by the HHS National Vaccine Advisory Committee.

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' National Vaccine Advisory Committee will discuss those and other topics at a June 2-3 meeting in Washington, D.C., that is open to the public.

HHS said topics to be discussed include the draft National Vaccine Plan, adult immunization recommendations, vaccine financing, 2009 H1N1 influenza outbreak, vaccine safety, and other related issues. An agenda will be posted at http://www.hhs.gov/nvpo/nvac at least one week prior to the meeting.

Anyone interested in attending must pre-register by sending an e-mail to [email protected] or calling 202-690-5566. The meeting will start at 9 a.m. EDT June 2 and end at 5:30 p.m. June 3 at HHS headquarters, the Hubert H. Humphrey Building, Room 800, 200 Independence Ave. SW.
