Act Now to Present at ASSE's Centennial Conference

July 16, 2010, is the deadline for proposals from potential speakers eager to be on the program of the June 12-15, 2011, meeting, which will be in the perfect location: downtown Chicago.

ASSE's 2010 meeting is more than a month away, but keep in mind that the deadline for potential 2011 speakers to submit their proposals is not much more distant. July 16, 2010, is the deadline for proposals from potential speakers eager to be on the program of the meeting taking place in ASSE's centennial year. That June 12-15, 2011, meeting will be in downtown Chicago, which offers plenty of attractions to fill a summer evening or two.

There are 20 subject tracks on the 2011 meeting's educational program that range from business skills and career/personal development to transportation. One of them added specially for the 2011 meeting is "History & Future of Safety and the Profession," a weighty topic that could fill a full day or more for ASSE leaders, members, exhibitors, and the press.

The May issue of ASSE's Professional Safety magazine includes a speaker application form on page 60, and a downloadable form is available at www.asse.org.
