New Video Explains Today's FR Apparel
In "Not All FR is Created Equal," Workrite and Westex simplify the sometimes difficult task of comparing FR garments and fabrics and finding the right one for your application.
"Not All FR is Created Equal" is a new educational video offered by Workrite Uniform Co. (Oxnard, CA) and Westex Inc. (Chicago), two storied providers of this essential category of FR apparel. Today's end users and safety managers confront a far larger variety of garments and fabrics when choosing FR products than in years past, and the applicable standards can be confusing.
In the video, a narrator discusses FR protection, comfort, the standards, and assessing value in terms of cost and wear factors, such as shrinkage and fabric strength. He concludes with advice central to the decision being made: "Be sure your FR apparel is there when you need it."
