FACOSH Meeting Sept. 15 on Agencies' H1N1 Planning

Getting federal employees ready for pandemic flu is the subject of a draft report OSHA's Federal Advisory Council on Occupational Safety and Health will consider next month.

A special meeting of OSHA's Federal Advisory Council on Occupational Safety and Health will take place Sept. 15 in Washington, D.C., with members reviewing a draft report from the FACOSH Emerging Issues Workgroup on activities related to federal agencies' pandemic H1N1 influenza preparedness planning. OSHA announced the meeting in yesterday's Federal Register.

The meeting is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. and end at 4:30 p.m. in Rooms N-4437 B/C/D of U.S. Department of Labor headquarters, 200 Constitution Ave. NW. Comments, requests to speak, and requests for special accommodations must be submitted by Sept. 8 (identified by Docket No. OSHA-2009-0018) via www.regulations.gov, by fax (10 pages maximum) to the OSHA Docket Office at 202-693-1648, or by mail or delivery to the OSHA Docket Office, Room N-2625, U.S. Department of Labor, 200 Constitution Ave. NW, Washington, DC 20210, phone 202-693-2350 (TTY 877-889-5627).
