IFPAC-2010 Set for Baltimore; Abstract Submissions Invited

The 24th annual International Forum for Process Analysis & Control will take place Jan. 31 -Feb. 4, 2010, at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront in Baltimore. Focusing on the latest developments in process analytical technology, the event will feature a number of short courses, an exhibition, and networking receptions. Abstract submissions from prospective speakers are being accepted now through Sept. 15.

Among the topics of interest to the IFPAC Committee are the emerging techniques, new applications, instrumentation, software, and standards in the realm of process sampling, mass spectroscopy, micro- and nanotechnologies, electrochemical techniques, FDA pharmaceuticals, biosensors, physical measurements, technology transfer and training, risk management, and more. Presentations for the forum will be selected by the program committee on the basis of invited and contributed abstracts. Prospective speakers are requested to submit an abstract of 150-200 words to IFPAC Committee, 253 Commerce Dr. Suite 103, Grayslake, IL 60030. Special Author Information on posters also is available, and selected proceedings will be published.

New co-chairs to the board of IFPAC-2010 are Theodora Kourti of GlaxoSmithKline; George Vickers, BP, Naperville, Ill.; and Vince Vilker, OTR, OPS, CDER, FDA.

The IFPAC-2010 Committee is providing full services for the three-day exhibition (Feb. 2-4). Booth space is assigned on a first-come-first-served basis.
