Crane Safety, Crisis Operations Top ASSE Agenda in Arizona

The American Society of Safety Engineers is holding a "Solutions in Construction Safety" symposium this Thursday and Friday in Scottsdale, Ariz., focused on addressing the prevalence of injuries and fatalities caused by cranes, falls, electrical incidents, and substance abuse at construction sites. The event will feature sessions from construction industry experts on crane safety, crisis operations, the positive return on investing in safety, preventing strains/sprains and slips/trips/falls, protecting the public, and more. Other planned highlights include a panel presentation titled "Big Projects, Big Challenges" and roundtable segments called "Share the Solutions."

T. Shane Bush, CPT, president of BushCo Inc. of Idaho, will provide the keynote presentation titled "Right Brain Leadership for the Future of Construction Safety," and Jay Greenspan of JMJ Associates of Texas, will present "Create a Breakthrough in Your Construction Safety Performance" for the general session.
