Minneapolis was the site of Super Bowl LII in February 2018, where the Philadelphia Eagles defeated the New England Patriots, 41-33. Ten days of festivities on Nicollet Mall, the main street of downtown Minneapolis, preceded the big game. The Mall of America, more than 520 stores, restaurants, and entertainment venues in 5.6 million square feet of space, is located in the suburb of Bloomington, Minn.
