Secretary of Labor Renews Charter of National Advisory Committee on Occupational Safety and Health

The charter has been renewed for two years

Secretary of Labor Thomas E. Perez has renewed the charter of the National Advisory Committee on Occupational Safety and Health (NACOSH), according to a report. The Federal Advisory Committee Act requires all advisory committees renew charters every two years, extending the charter until Oct. 5, 2018.

OSHA says NACOSH advises, consults with and makes recommendations to the secretaries of labor and health and human services on items relating to the administration of the Occupational Safety and Health Act.
