OSHA Reminds Employers to Protect Workers from Heat Illness

With high temperatures in a number of cities, OSHA is sending out a reminder to protect workers from the dangers of heat.

The agency's reminders mentions that its Heat Safety Tool App can calculate heat index for a work site and displays a risk level to outdoor workers.

Water, rest, and shade are mentioned as the necessary ways to prevent heat illness.
