OSHA Reminds Employers to Protect Workers from Heat Illness

With high temperatures in a number of cities, OSHA is sending out a reminder to protect workers from the dangers of heat.

Due to high temperatures across the country, OSHA is sending reminders to employers to protect their workers from heat illness.

The agency's reminders mentions that its Heat Safety Tool App can calculate heat index for a work site and displays a risk level to outdoor workers.

Water, rest, and shade are mentioned as the necessary ways to prevent heat illness.
