Donated Health Supplies Assist Indiana Flood Victims

Kimberly-Clark Professional announced recently that it is donating thousands of health and hygiene products to help Columbus, Ind., businesses and residents clean up from the extensive damage caused by the recent flooding.

"We know that Columbus was hit very hard by these storms and the flooding that followed," said Drew Barfoot, vice president of Kimberly-Clark Professional, North America. "At Kimberly-Clark Professional, our mission is to enhance the health, hygiene, and well-being of people everywhere, especially those in need. We hope this donation will provide some assistance to the business community, and the area as a whole, as it recovers from these events."

The donation will be presented to the city by HP Products, a local distributor of Kimberly-Clark Professional products. HP Products will deliver the following products:

  • 10,000 WypAll L40 Wipers, a general-purpose disposable wiper that absorbs liquids, lubricants, and oils.
  • 1,824 pairs of KleenGuard gloves, which offer excellent hand protection for many tasks.
  • 960 KleenGuard M-Series particulate respirators.

The items will be available for pickup at Eastside Community Center at 421 McClure Road.
