T&M Associates Marks 60 Years of Engineering Service

The New Jersey-based firm celebrates six decades of expansion, infrastructure resiliency and community-focused technical solutions.

T&M Associates, an engineering and technical services firm, is celebrating its 60th anniversary, marking six decades of operations and growth.

Founded in 1966, the company has expanded from a seven-person staff to a multidisciplinary organization of more than 375 professionals. The firm serves public- and private-sector clients across five core markets: buildings and facilities, community and land development, environmental, transportation, and water.

"This milestone is a testament to the dedication of our employees, the loyalty of our clients, and the strength of the values this firm was built on," said Gary Dahms, president and CEO of T&M Associates. "As we honor our past, we’re equally focused on shaping the future."

The firm’s history includes significant work in recovery and resiliency efforts following Superstorm Sandy. Leadership noted that these experiences have informed the company's current focus on sustainable design and long-term infrastructure performance.

"Our longevity is rooted in our culture and our commitment to doing what’s right for our clients and communities," said Patrick Jeffery, chief operating officer.

In addition to its technical work, the company is observing the fifth anniversary of the T&M Foundation. The nonprofit arm focuses on STEM education initiatives and volunteerism.

Originally established by founders Richard T. Noble and Richard M. Schulz, the firm has received various industry accolades, including engineering excellence awards and workplace culture honors.
