World’s Largest Annual Safety Event Draws 12,500 to Denver

The 2025 NSC Safety Congress & Expo brought together thousands of safety professionals, exhibitors, and thought leaders to showcase innovations designed to protect workers and save lives.

More than 12,500 safety professionals and 1,000 exhibitors gathered at the 2025 National Safety Council (NSC) Safety Congress & Expo, held Sept. 12–18 at the Colorado Convention Center. Now in its 113th year, the event remains the world’s largest annual gathering dedicated to workplace safety and health.

Spanning more than 217,000 square feet of exhibit space, the expo showcased a wide range of innovations designed to protect workers and save lives. Exhibitors demonstrated cutting-edge safety technologies, training solutions and products that address evolving workplace hazards.

Keynote speakers included Amanda Wood Laihow, then Acting Assistant Secretary of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration; four-time Olympian Chaunté Lowe; and Shazam founder Chris Barton. Each offered unique insights on leadership, resilience and the future of safety.

The 11th annual Best in Show – New Product Showcase Awards honored 67 safety innovations from 43 companies.

  • First place: Elmridge Protection Products – iEvac E500 Escape Hood, designed for rapid protection from toxic gases, vapors and particulates.
  • Second place: PIP Global Safety – Traverse Type II Safety Helmet with Quin and Mips 280-HP1491RM-QPOD, engineered to guard against multiple impact types.
  • Third place: Werner – Cable Grab, a premium climbing device with a self-closing, auto-locking carabiner for smooth operation.
