NSC Congress 2025 Shines Spotlight on Learning

More than 155 educational opportunities, including technical sessions, professional development seminars, Learning Labs, and Safety Huddles, will be offered in Denver Sept. 15–17.

The 2025 NSC Safety Congress & Expo takes place Sept. 15–17 at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver, with Professional Development Seminars scheduled before and after the main event on Sept. 12–14 and Sept. 17–18. Education remains the centerpiece of the program, with more than 155 offerings designed to serve attendees at every stage of their careers.

The conference will feature over 25 Professional Development Seminars (PDS), ranging from half-day to four-day courses. These sessions provide in-depth instruction on subjects such as risk assessment, safety leadership, and regulatory compliance. Each course offers continuing education units for participants.

Alongside the seminars, more than 130 technical sessions will run throughout the three-day program. These sessions, organized into introductory through advanced levels, cover emerging topics such as musculoskeletal disorder (MSD) prevention, AI-enabled safety technology, and case studies from industries with high hazard exposure. On the expo floor, Learning Labs and Safety Huddles will supplement classroom sessions. Learning Labs are hour-long presentations with applied takeaways, while Safety Huddles create short, interactive discussions on pressing issues. These formats are designed for quick learning and direct engagement with experts.

One highlight of the education program is the annual OSHA Top 10 Most Frequently Cited Standards session, scheduled for Sept. 16. Eric Harbin, OSHA’s regional administrator in Dallas, will present the list, offering attendees insight into enforcement priorities and common compliance gaps.

The breadth of the conference content is meant to provide both strategic guidance and practical skills. For safety professionals seeking continuing education credits or new approaches to workplace challenges, the Denver program offers a range of opportunities to learn and apply knowledge directly to their work environments.
