ASSP’s Safety 2025 Conference Heads to Orlando With Expo, Expert Speakers and Career Opportunities
Safety 2025 will bring together global safety professionals for three days of education, networking, and hands-on exploration of the latest workplace safety innovations.

The American Society of Safety Professionals’ (ASSP) Safety 2025 Professional Development Conference and Exposition is just around the corner, scheduled for July 22–24 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.
The annual event is expected to draw thousands of occupational safety and health professionals from around the world. As industries face evolving risks and standards, this year’s conference aims to address key topics, support professional development, and create opportunities for education and networking.
Spanning more than 120,000 square feet, the exposition will feature over 650 exhibitors showcasing the latest in occupational safety and health (OSH) products, services and technologies.
Expo hours are as follows:
- Tuesday, July 22: 11:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
- Wednesday, July 23: 8:30 a.m. – 4:15 p.m.
- Thursday, July 24: 9:00 a.m. – 1:15 p.m.

ASSP Marketplace and Foundation Booth (Booth #1566)
This hub offers access to the latest ASSP technical publications, ANSI/ASSP standards, and branded gear. Attendees can engage with authors, make donations to the ASSP Foundation, and explore opportunities to support the profession. The booth also features photo backdrops and personalized badge ribbons.
Career Advancement Center (Booth #880)
Attendees can connect with hiring managers from top employers, including Amazon, Boeing, and Grainger. Information on continuing education from institutions such as Columbia Southern University and Texas A&M University will be available. Free professional headshot services will also be offered to help attendees update their online presence.
Parade to Prizes
This interactive activity encourages attendees to visit participating exhibitor booths, collect stamps, and submit completed cards for a chance to win prizes.
Safety Apparel and PPE Fashion Show
Hosted by ASSP’s Women in Safety Excellence (WISE), this fashion show highlights the importance of properly fitting personal protective equipment (PPE) and features the latest designs focused on comfort and compliance.
Flash Sessions and Tech Talks
Short 15-minute sessions led by exhibitors and sponsors will provide concise insights on research, safety practices, and emerging technologies. Schedules will be available in the Safety 2025 mobile app.
General Sessions Highlight Connection, Culture, and Mental Health
A core feature of Safety 2025 is its lineup of general sessions designed to educate and inspire attendees on issues that impact safety leaders at all levels.
The event will open on Tuesday, July 22, with keynote speaker Shasta Nelson, a relationship expert with over 15 years of experience helping organizations strengthen workplace trust and collaboration. Her session, scheduled from 8:00 to 9:30 a.m. ET will focus on building resilient relationships that drive employee engagement and retention.
On Wednesday, July 23, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. ET, the spotlight will turn to mental health in the session “The Silent Hazard: Mental Health, Suicide Prevention and the Role of EHS Professionals.” Moderated by Linda M. Tapp, the panel will include experts Georgia Bryce-Hutchinson, Wesley L. Wheeler, and Christina Trahan Cain. The discussion will provide practical guidance for recognizing warning signs, addressing stigma, and integrating mental health into workplace safety programs, particularly in high-risk sectors such as construction.
The final keynote will take place Thursday, July 24, from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. ET, with Liz Bohannon, entrepreneur and author of Beginner’s Pluck. Bohannon will present her Community Quotient™ framework, offering strategies for cultivating human-centered, connected workplaces that foster innovation and collective success.
