National COSH Opens ‘Dirty Dozen’ Nominations, Announces COSHCON2025 Location

National COSH is accepting nominations for its 2025 Dirty Dozen report and relocating its annual COSHCON conference to Chicago.

The National Council for Occupational Safety and Health (National COSH) has opened nominations for its annual “Dirty Dozen” report, which highlights employers who prioritize profits over safety, putting workers and communities at risk.

The organization releases the Dirty Dozen report each April during Workers’ Memorial Week. National COSH encourages submissions from workers, advocates and allied organizations. The report aims to honor those injured or killed on the job while holding negligent employers accountable.

In addition, the National COSH updated news of COSHCON2025, its National Conference on Worker Safety and Health, now scheduled for October 8-10, 2025.

Now moving to Chicago, COSHCON2025 reportedly outgrew its previous venue at the National Maritime Center in Maryland and will be hosted in partnership with the University of Illinois at Chicago School of Public Health. The move aims to make the conference more accessible to participants from different regions of the country.

Further details about COSHCON2025, including venue specifics and housing options, will be announced in the coming months. In the meantime, interested parties can submit their nominations for the 2025 edition of the “Dirty Dozen” report online.
