2023 NSC Safety Congress and Expo Announces InDepth Professional Development Seminars
Guests can earn continuing education credits while getting the latest safety updates.

New Orleans—home of Mardi Gras—is known for its rich history, culture and unique atmosphere. Now guests of the 2023 NSC Safety Congress & Expo will get to experience not only the fun of the city but also gain professional enrichment at the very same time.
Scheduled for October 20-22 and 25-26, the event’s Professional Development Seminars cover a wide variety of topics critical to occupational safety. Attendees can choose from over 20 different hands-on sessions, and each one includes class materials, textbooks and continuing education credits. Seminars range from one to four days, accommodating everyone’s schedule.
Topics include preparation for SPAN™ ASP and CSP exams, incident investigations, occupational safety principles, industrial hygiene, job safety analysis, safety performance measurement and effective management practices. Sessions also focus on building safety cultures, safety capacity benchmarking, communication skills, addressing substance abuse and mental health in the workplace, safety trainer strategies, insights from brain science on safe behavior, risk assessment, safety inspections, ergonomics and work zone flagging safety protocols.
Registration for the Professional Development Seminars does cost an additional fee, but with the level of knowledge and expertise involved, guests of the 2023 NSC Safety Congress & Expo should absolutely consider exploring the wide range of sessions available at this year’s event.
