Safety professionals from every industry are gearing up for the Voluntary Protection Programs Participants’ Association (VPPPA)’s annual Safety+ Symposium. Slated for Sept. 17-20, 2023, the event will be hosted at the Orlando World Center Marriott in Orlando, Florida. And it promises to deliver a wide range of fun and informative events for companies of every size.
For over three decades, the VPPPA Safety+ Symposium has carved out a distinct space in the realm of occupational safety and health. The symposium is recognized for being the only national educational event specifically tailored to help voluntary protection programs (VPP) worksites build a greater focus on achieving and maintaining safety and health excellence.
Attendees can look forward to more than 50 educational workshops as well as roundtable discussions and other opportunities to learn valuable insights from safety professionals, industry leaders and federal agencies alike. Safety+ Symposium guests will also gain a better understanding of the regulatory trends that might affect their business now and in the future.
The event offers more than just educational opportunities, however. It also brings together safety professionals across multiple sectors through interactive workshops and evening receptions. The symposium has long emphasized the role of networking and fostering collaborative relationships. So the VPPPA’s 2023 Safety+ Symposium is designed with peer-to-peer networking in mind.
Formed in 1985, the VPPPA’s mission is to help worksites “achieve continuous improvement toward their occupational safety and health goals,” according to the organization’s website. The VPPPA currently extends to more than 2,200 member sites.
