OSHA Advisory Committee on Construction Safety and Health Meets in August

The meeting gives the public the chance to address the committee.

OSHA just revealed the Advisory Committee on Construction Safety and Health (ACCSH) has set a date for its next meeting. 

In a press bulletin dated July 18, OSHA announced the ACCSH will meet on August 9, 2023, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. EST in Washington D.C. The meeting is open to the public for in person as well as virtual attendance. 

According to the announcement, the program will include remarks from OSHA Deputy Assistant Secretary of Labor Jim Frederick, updates from OSHA’s Directorate of Construction and an opportunity for the public to directly address the committee.  

Workgroup meetings will follow on August 10. Meeting times will be determined at the full committee session the day before. 

Attendees may participate in the event in person at the Conference Room C-5320, Room 6, U.S. Department of Labor, 200 Constitution Ave., NW, Washington, DC 20210. Those interested in attending have until August 3 to register by emailing Gretta Jameson at [email protected]. Details on attending virtually are available on the ACCSH webpage.
