OSHA Cites Over Thirty Employers for Coronavirus Violations
The agency issued citations for several employers across the country for improper operations during the pandemic.

As of October 2, OSHA has cited 37 establishments for coronavirus violations since the beginning of the pandemic.
The proposed penalties for the violations, which came about as a result of inspections by OSHA, add up to a total of $484,069.
Employers in states such as Texas, New York, New Jersey, Indiana and Georgia were cited for things like failure to implement a written respiratory protection program and failure to report injuries, illnesses or fatalities. Other citations include noncompliance with the General Duty Clause and failing to provide fit testing for respirators.
