OSHA Investigates Death of Utah Construction Worker

A Utah man died while working on a construction site on October 3.

OSHA is investigating the October 3 death of a man who died in a construction accident in Spanish Fork, Utah, according to Deseret News.

The man, whose identity has not been released, was excavating for a construction company when a trench collapsed on him. He was conscious when his coworkers partially dug him out of the trench, but after responders arrived his condition worsened.

The construction worker died of compression injuries at Utah Valley Hospital.
