Booth Hop, Sleep, Repeat: Day One on the NSC Expo Floor

Day one is done for NSC Expo 2019! We spent all day on the expo floor visiting booths, talking about products, and attending information sessions with industry professionals. While our feet may be tired, this is just the beginning. Here's a recap of the sponsors that partnered with OH&S and how our first day went."

Our sponsors for this year's NSC Expo are Tingley Rubber, Avery Products, and Columbia Southern University. If you don't already know, Tingley makes your worker clothes and boots; Avery makes your compliance labels and organization tools; and Columbia Southern cultivates minds and trains students in all things occupational safety and health. "

We started the day at 9:30 a.m. as soon as the expo floor opened. The morning was spent chatting with our OH&S sponsors about the coming week and delivering trophies to the winners of the various categories for New Product Award of the Year. After refueling with some lunch, I attended an info session called "Identifying Cultural Hazards: 4 Clues Your Organization is Out of Balance" with speaker Rodney Grieve. Then, I wrapped up the day with more visits to our sponsor booths for some live content on new products and technologies. "

As the expo floor came to a close for the day at 4:30 p.m., the OH&S team was already excited for round two. We headed into the lively city of San Diego for more socializing opportunities, some dinner, and a good night's rest."

It's safe to say that day one on the NSC Expo floor was a total success. We are ready to be up and at it once again today to visit industry professionals at their booths, attend information sessions, and learn about industry products.
