The U.S. Chemical Safety and Hazard Investigation Board announced Stephen J. Klejst is the agency's new executive director. Before joining the NTSB, Klejst had an executive career in the passenger railroad industry. He is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in chemistry and holds a master of science in management degree from the Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, N.J.
"We are excited to have Steve joining the leadership team of the agency," CSB Chairperson Vanessa Allen Sutherland said.
