Nearly 2 Million Pounds of Chicken Products Recalled

National Steak and Poultry has recalled ready-to-eat chicken products due to a possible undercooking.

National Steak and Poultry out of Owasso, Okla., is recalling 1,976,089 pounds of ready-to-eat chicken products due to the possibility of undercooking, according to a U.S. Food Safety and Inspection Service news release.

The recall includes products that were produced from August 20, 2016 through November 30, 2016. The recall was enacted after a food service customer complained about the product appearing to be undercooked.

There have been no confirmed reports of adverse health effects or illnesses, however, according to FSIS.
