AIHA Announces 2016 Board Election Results

New members will be inducted at the Annual Business Meeting at the 2016 AIHce conference and expo in Baltimore.

The American Industrial Hygiene Association announced in a press release the results of its 2016 election for the AIHA Board of Directors. The board members will be inducted at AIHA's Annual Business Meeting on Thursday, May 26, during AIHce in Baltimore, Md.

The results are: Cynthia A. Ostrowski, MS, CIH, FAIHA, as vice president; Michael Rosenow, MPH, CIH, CSP, as secretary-elect; Cathy Hovde, CIH, CSP, as AIHA director; and Joselito S. Ignacio, MA, MPH, CIH, CSP, REHS, as AIHA director.

"We congratulate and welcome the new elected officers and directors of AIHA's Board of Directors," said Daniel H. Anna, Ph.D., CIH, CSP, president of the AIHA Board. "They possess extensive knowledge and diverse experience in the field of industrial hygiene, and we are honored to have them as members of the board. We are confident that these individuals, along with the remaining members of the board, will continue to provide strong leadership that furthers AIHA's mission of protecting worker health."
