A free transit service in downtown Miami is closed today while Miami-Dade Transit inspects its entire 4.4-mile elevated guideway following a Tuesday collision involving two of the automated cars. The Miami Herald reports 40 people riding in those cars received treatment afterward.

Miami-Dade Transit said it would inspect the entire Metromover guideway and service on the Inner and Outer loops of Metromover is suspended until further notice, with bus shuttle service taking its place for now.
