Houston FM Conference Opens with Best Practices Forum
A Best Practices Forum, Management Summit, and Leaders’ Conference are included in the International Facility Management Association's FM-3D conference, which kicks off Wednesday in Houston. The trifecta will give attendees what IFMA calls a "premiere educational opportunities at a single three-day event."
Day one of the event includes the Best Practices Forum, a symposium where participants will discuss how their personal facility management achievements measurably improved their organizations. "We're pleased to have the Best Practices Forum here in Houston because there are so many thought leaders and well-run facilities in this area for participants to see and learn from," said IFMA Associate Director of Research Shari Epstein, who organized the event. "The forum has always been a great opportunity for facility managers to come together, network, and share best practices. It's a vital component of IFMA's FM-3D event." The forum concludes with a facility tour at the Texas Medical Center.
The Best Practices Forum will be held at Houston's Hilton Post Oak hotel from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Feb. 27. For more information about the conference, visit www.ifma.org. IFMA is a leading association for facility managers, with more than 19,000 members in 60 countries.
