Sperian Protection to Make Debut at NSC 2007
Among the 800-plus companies exhibiting wares at this year's NSC Expo, Paris-based Sperian Protection will be making its first major U.S. tradeshow outing since officially changing its name from Bacou-Dalloz earlier this year. Sperian Chairman and CEO Henri-Dominique Petit said the name change signaled the start of a new era for the former Bacou-Dalloz group, which includes such well-known personal protection brands as Uvex, Harley Davidson, Perfect Fit, Willson, and Survivair, among others.
The company's hearing protection division, comprised of the Howard Leight and Bilsom brands--formerly known collectively as the Bacou-Dalloz Hearing Safety Group and now called Sperian Hearing Protection--will be using the NSC Expo to unveil two new accessories for its broad line of ear muffs: the Polar Hood, which ensures optimal attenuation for workers exposed to cold climates who also require hearing protection; and the Slim Belt Clip, designed to provide handy storage when ear muffs are not in use. Among other new products, the group will feature new Clarity® multiple-use ear plugs and Thunder® T2HV Hi-Visibility ear muffs from Howard Leight.
These and other products will be on display for Sperian's NSC debut at Booth 604, Oct. 15-17.
