ASSE Permian Basin Chapter to Host Oilfield Safety Seminar

The American Society of Safety Engineers' Midland, Texas-based Permian Basin Chapter will host an Oilfield Safety, Field and Rig Compliance Seminar at the MCM Elegante Hotel in Odessa, Texas, Sept. 19-20, 2007.

The event is designed to increase safety for oilfield workers who are trying to meet the increased consumption and demand for oil worldwide, covering topics such as inspection of pulling or work-over units, well and tank battery sites, drilling rigs, employee behavior, and general field operations.
