Develop proven leadership and management skills: Leadership and management skills are essential for meeting today’s technical, regulatory, and administrative challenges; EHS professionals must learn how to make strategic contributions as well as to advocate and communicate the need for safety and health initiatives within their organization. Environment, health, and safety professionals from all organizations will gain the management training needed to develop strategies for integrating a culture of safety and sustainability into their organizations. Effectively manage critical EHS objectives: This program provides oversight and focused skill building in the critical areas of leadership and management development with the objective of bridging the gap between EHS technical skills and leadership skills essential for achieving organizational objectives that meet ISO 14001, ANSI Z10, OSHA VPP, and EPA’s NEIC management system standards and sustainability requirements. Taught in a highly interactive classroom, the content explored through lectures, case studies, and team exercises as teaching methods. Participants are encouraged to pose management issues and problems for discussion.
