Occupational Safety and Health Advisory Council to Convene in Raleigh

The public meeting will address workplace health and safety guidance for North Carolina.

Labor Commissioner Luke Farley will convene a meeting of the Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Advisory Council on Wednesday, May 14, at 10 a.m. at the N.C. Department of Labor’s Lake Boone Trail Office in Raleigh.

The meeting will be held in the second-floor training room of the office at 3801 Lake Boone Trail and is open to the public.

The 11-member OSH Advisory Council includes representatives from management, labor, and the public. The council serves to advise, consult, and make recommendations to the Commissioner of Labor on matters related to the administration of the North Carolina Occupational Safety and Health Act.

Members of the public and industry stakeholders are encouraged to attend.
