Blackline Safety Expands in Fire and Hazmat Market with New Gamma Tech

Blackline Safety grows fire and hazmat reach and launches its new EXO 8 Gamma monitor for gas and radiation detection.

Blackline Safety Corporation reported a 175% increase in fire-hazmat customers over the past year, growing from 127 to 350 departments globally. The connected safety technology company now protects thousands of users across North America, Europe, the Middle East, Australia, and New Zealand.

The company also announced it is shipping its new EXO 8 Gamma area monitor this month. The device is the first portable, direct-to-cloud monitor capable of detecting eight gases and gamma radiation simultaneously.

“Real-time connected technology is no longer a luxury—it's essential for enhancing safety and saving lives,” said Doug Mayer, Blackline’s fire hazmat business development specialist.

Blackline will showcase its fire-hazmat innovations, including the EXO 8 Gamma, at FDIC 2025 in Indianapolis later this month.
