Sperian Protection Unveils New Direction

Last year, they floored us with the unveiling of their new company name and logo; this year, worldwide PPE provider Sperian Protection Inc. has continued to reinvent itself with the announcement of a new brand concept for Uvex, its safety eyewear, goggle, and faceshield division.

According to Sperian, the re-branding effort will focus on a "Culture of Safety," which will provide safety managers and their employees with the products, educational tools, and services necessary to achieve that culture. The effort also includes a new Web site, logo, and advertising campaign.

The primary mission of the campaign and logo design is to reflect the new corporate positioning that emphasizes the idea of helping companies creating the aforementioned culture of safety, rather than just providing protective equipment, while subtly reinforcing the brand's premium position as a leader in the category.
