Pelican Products Inc., booth #1615.

The recently formed Advance Area Lighting Group from Pelican demonstrated their next generation LED and 12 volt battery products that allow workers to illuminate darkened work areas with the flip of a switch. With them, gone are the days when generator noise, flammable fuels, and snaking wires posed hazards to workers.

Sperian Protection Inc., booth #1401.

Howard Leight's VeriPRO™ technology makes it possible for safety managers to ensure employees are getting the most out of their hearing protection devices. GreenRoad Technologies, booth #1513.

GreenRoad develops driver safety technologies that stop risky driving before accidents occur, and dramatically reduces crash rates for fleets and insurance companies. According to GreenRoad, combining in-vehicle technology with integrated web applications has resulted in fewer accidents, lower accident costs, reduced fuel costs, reduced CO2 emissions, and safer drivers.

National Safety Council, booth #301.

NSC showed how simulation-based 3-D video game technology and interactive training techniques can supplement traditional forklift training with the creation of Virtual Forklift Operator™, a new tool that provides operators with a realistic, hands-on experience that meets OSHA forklift safety standards. The product continuously tests trainees on inspection, driving, traffic rules, and inventory movement. The tool is designed for new and experienced operators.
