Travelers IH Lab Expands Free Pump Loan Program
The Travelers Industrial Hygiene Laboratory announced at AIHce on Monday that it is enhancing its Perm Pump Management loan program. Originally limited to pumps loaned for short periods only, the program now will allow organizations and companies to keep the pumps on loan continuously as long as samples are analyzed at the lab. The lab is part of St. Paul, Minn.-based Travelers Companies Inc., a leading property casualty insurer.
"Some of our customers may have a limited or outdated supply of pumps that minimizes their ability to take air samples," said Marcel Baril, director of the lab. "Our new extended Perm Pump Management program allows our customers the flexibility and convenience of air sampling on their schedule without the worry of shipping the pumps back quickly."
The lab has loaned air sampling pumps for 16 years and has more than 1,100 pumps available. It loans several other types of equipment to customers, as well, including primary calibrators, tubing, and peripheral equipment for sampling. For information, visit www.travelerslab.com.
