Preventable injuries remain a leading cause of death in the United States, but proactive measures can save lives. The National Safety Council (NSC) is urging individuals and organizations to take action by participating in National Safety Month this June.
As part of this nationwide initiative, NSC is offering a full month of free safety resources to help reduce injuries and fatalities in workplaces, communities, and homes. These resources aim to raise awareness about common hazards and provide actionable steps to prevent accidents.
“Safety is everyone’s responsibility, and National Safety Month gives us a focused opportunity to reinforce best practices that protect lives,” said Lorraine Martin, NSC President and CEO. “By working together, we can create safer environments for our colleagues, communities, families, and friends.”
