AIHA Connect 2025 Keynote to Highlight the Power of Neurodiversity in the Workplace

This keynote highlights the benefits of neurodiversity, offering practical strategies to support and leverage neurodivergent employees for workplace success.

Embracing neurodiversity in the workplace isn’t just an inclusion effort—it’s a competitive advantage. Author, engineer, and neurodiversity advocate David Finch will deliver the opening keynote at AIHA Connect 2025, sharing insights on how companies can leverage unique talents and create supportive environments for neurodivergent employees.

In 2005, Finch’s marriage was struggling due to what he later realized were traits of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Diagnosed in 2008, he embarked on a journey of self-discovery, transforming his relationships both personally and professionally. Drawing from his experience in semiconductor engineering, software development, and Fortune 500 marketing, Finch will offer practical strategies for managing neurodiverse teams.

"Virtually every company and workplace with more than two employees could be considered a neurodiverse organization," Finch noted. "I’m going to talk about managing and leveraging neurodiversity, the benefits of hiring unique talents, and how to support gifted coworkers who sometimes operate a little differently."

Advance registration for AIHA Connect 2025, taking place on Monday, May 19, at 8:00 a.m. CT, is closing soon. With 179 sessions and top-tier networking opportunities, attendees can gain valuable insights into workplace health and safety.
