The U.S. Department of Labor invites nominations for 14 open seats on OSHA’s Advisory Committee on Construction Safety and Health (ACCSH), with submissions due by Jan. 2, 2025.
Established under the Construction Safety Act, the committee provides guidance to the Secretary of Labor and OSHA on matters related to policy and construction safety standards. Members serve two-year terms, are eligible for reappointment, and represent employers, employees, state safety and health agencies, and the public.
Meeting two to four times per year, the committee aims to maintain a balanced and diverse membership. The DOL encourages stakeholders to submit nominations and supporting materials via the Federal eRulemaking Portal, referencing Docket No. OSHA-2024-0002. More information is available in the Federal Register notice.
The ACCSH charter was renewed in November 2024, extending the committee’s operational term for another two years. More details are on the ACCSH web page.
