OSHA's Michaels Participating in April 27 Safety Summit
It's an effort to inform temporary workers about heat stress, electrical safety and fall hazards in construction and is being done in partnership with Maryland Occupational Safety and Health’s outreach program.
Dr. David Michaels, OSHA's chief, is scheduled to participate in a Temporary Worker Safety Summit on April 27 at a community center in Silver Spring, Md. The free event takes place from noon to 3:30 p.m. at the Long Branch Community Recreational Center and is an effort to inform temporary workers about heat stress, electrical safety and fall hazards in construction.
The event is a partnership of OSHA with Maryland Occupational Safety and Health’s outreach program, which will host the summit.
