Disability Management Provider Launches Absenteeism Blog

The Employer Division of Toronto-based Assessment Rehabilitation Services Inc., a provider of disability management and assessment services across Canada, has added an absenteeism blog to its Web site at www.arsi.ca.

The blog, a first in Canada, offers visitors the opportunity to discuss and learn about the complexities surrounding employee absenteeism, giving employers an opportunity to learn and share absenteeism management strategies online.

The "blog master," Neil Rankin, director of employer services at ARSI, will be posting regularly, the company says. Rankin has almost 20 years of experience assisting employers in the management of absenteeism related to occupational and non-occupational disability claims. He also is the author of Employer's Guide to Disability Management.

ARSI is a full-service disability management provider. Its services include independent medical evaluations, physical demands analysis, functional abilities evaluations, ergonomic assessment, returning to work management, wellness services, post offer screenings, and program auditing.
