ASSE Offers Virtual Classroom Session on the On-Site Audit Process

For those SH&E professionals involved in developing and performing assessments of health and safety programs, ASSE is offering a 90-minute "virtual classroom event" focusing on the on-site audit process. Designed for anyone who either performs or is subject to an internal or external assessment, this Webinar will help you to more effectively verify what you see, says course instructor Paul Esposito, CIH, CSP, CPEA, who will lead the event along with ESIS Global Risk Control Services, a consulting arm of ACE-INA Insurance Company.

Esposito has taught health and safety auditing classes for major conference organizations for the past 18 years. He has written numerous articles on the subject and has audited more than 400 facilities. He is currently vice president of ESIS and a member of ASSE's COPD, and has been a presenter of numerous topics at conferences around the country. In the Webinar, Esposito will lead participants through the document review and interview process, pointing out the right questions to ask and how to correlate the answers. He will discuss how to select just the right mix of documentation and anecdotal evidence to verify during participants' workplace visits.

The event will take place one week from today--Wed., June 18, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. CDT. ASSE says that after completing the session, participants will understand the steps necessary to complete a successful audit, better plan their audit process, help the site be better prepared for the audit, be able to develop their own interview questionnaires, and know how to score the interview results and assessment process. Upon completion of the session participants receive a link to the recorded version of the session for later viewing and 0.2 CEU credits.
