Considerations for Low Voltage Safety for Utilities and Commercial Facilities

This presentation explores hazards that may not be adequately risk assessed by persons exposed to supposedly greater hazards. We will look at High Voltage Qualified and Task Qualified workers and rules for these persons to work at Low Voltages.

Attendees will learn the similarities and differences between the Low Voltage and High Voltage Hazards, discuss risk assessments, mitigation techniques, and conclude with a case study.  It is aimed at safety practitioners and specialists that have voltages above 600V and below 600V at their facilities (whether contracted out or not!).
