Suntec Singapore International Convention & Exhibition Centre
The Singapore Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Conference 2010 will be held from 15-16 September 2010. The theme for the Conference is "Embracing Challenges, Pushing WSH Frontiers".
This inaugural regional conference is organised by the Workplace Safety and Health Council and the Ministry of Manpower, and supported by strategic partners such as International Labour Organization, National Trades Union Congress and Singapore National Employers Federation. Poised as a high-level conference, it is expected to attract more than 600 delegates from across the region, including senior government officials, as well as CEOs of companies and WSH professionals from a diverse mix of industries, ranging from construction and landscaping, chemical, healthcare, logistics and transport, marine, and metalworking and manufacturing, among others.
The Conference provides a critical platform for delegates to acquire the latest WSH thinking and insights that they could contextualise and apply to their organisations and home countries. This exclusive gathering also allows delegates to network and exchange ideas and experiences with the panel of renowned global industry experts, high calibre WSH practitioners, and their peers.
The Conference will focus on critical areas such as developing and managing WSH strategies and practices, fostering industry-led WSH approaches and partnerships, building WSH capabilities of organisations, particularly small and medium enterprises and professionals dealing with workplace challenges, and forming innovative WSH practices.
