The three-day conferences will give attendees a behind-the-scenes look at Milliken's safety processes and a tour of a Milliken & Company plant.

Performance Solutions by Milliken has announced the dates for its two "Best Practices in World-Class Safety Processes" conferences taking place this year at the Roger Milliken Center in Spartanburg, S.C. The dates are April 29-May 1 and Oct. 7-9. The conferences' target audience includes safety managers, CEOs, HR directors, and "anyone interested in achieving safe, agile, aggressive and enlightened manufacturing," according to the brochure.

The agenda includes presentations by 17 Milliken leaders, such as Milliken & Company President and CEO Joe Salley, Ph.D.; Thad Gregory, HR manager at the company's Pendleton Plant; and Wayne Punch, emeritus director of safety & health for Milliken & Company, who will discuss on the first day how the company engages employees through safety. Attendees will tour Milliken's Pendleton and Magnolia plants on day three.

The conference costs $1,595 per person; $1,395 per person for teams of three or more; and $995 per person for teams of six or more that include one or more corporate-level sponsors as a participant. This covers tuition, a pre-conference SafetyWay Survey, refreshment breaks, networking luncheons, and a plant visit, but not lodging or other meals.
