CDC Unveils Learning Connection Website
More than 150 online courses, webcasts, and electronic publications for public health-related learning are offered there.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has created CDC Learning Connection, a new website containing public health learning products created by the agency and its partners. More than 150 products are available in the collection.
Many environmental health offerings are there, along with material about infectious diseases, chronic diseases, food safety, injury and violence prevention, epidemiology, and more. A one-hour web-based course about recognizing and preventing heat-related illnesses is available via the site.
The food safety materials include the Food Safety Toolkit and food illness, food protection, HACCP, and outbreak investigations training for employees working on cruise ships.
Environmental health materials on the site include webinars about climate change and online courses about hazardous materials, wastewater, solid and hazardous waste, and potable water.
