The OSHA occupational noise exposure standard 29CFR1910.95 includes requirements and methods for determining worker noise exposures. The noise exposure data is important for selecting hearing protection and for determining applicable OSHA requirements.
This webinar will review OSHA requirements for noise monitoring including using sound level surveys and personal noise dosimetry. We will discuss types of meters, sound levels and decibels, time-weighted averages, A-weighting, meter response, and other important technical information to understand noise measurements and dosimetry.
