In this webinar we will discuss OSHA’s noise standards, noise-induced hearing loss, noise exposure control, selection and use of hearing protection, along with a brief overview of sound level testing and worker training.
Also covered are basic physics of sound and vibration, anatomy and physiology of the ear and the hearing process, effects of noise on hearing, monitoring, noise control engineering, selection and demonstration of hearing protective devices and the role of audiometric testing.

Lev Pobirsky is the Senior Director of Health, Safety and Security for Ashley Furniture Industries, the world's largest furniture company with 30,000 employees and operations in over 100 countries . In this role, Lev is responsible for all aspects of company’s strategic direction pertaining to physical security, safety, and health programs and policies, including all regulatory compliance relating to occupational safety and health. Lev’s previous employment includes various senior safety/security roles with PepsiCo/Frito-Lay throughout the United States. Lev earned a B.A. Political Science from the Virginia Military Institute, an MBA from Pennsylvania State University, and an M.A. in Leadership & Organizational Development from St. Louis University. Lev is a certified OSHA trainer and has earned the Associate Safety Professional (ASP) designation. Prior to corporate life, Mr. Pobirsky served as an Infantry and Special Operations Officer in the United States Marine Corps, attaining the rank of Captain
