In a previous webinar, OSHA and consensus standards were used to introduce Electrical Risk Assessments. The three key components of an electrical risk assessment: a) electrical hazard identification, b) electrical risk analysis, and c) the methods used to control the electrical risk were discussed. The webinar focused extensively on human performance and the hierarchy of risk control. 

This webinar builds on the previous discussion and attempts to provide practical recommendations by showing how organizations can implement these strategies. A quick recap of the previous webinar sets the stage to discuss the components of an Electrical Risk Assessment Management System. We discuss the various items required for a practical electrical risk assessment, such as an arc flash hazard analysis (or arc flash study), labeling, training, and auditing. The webinar concludes with a discussion on a baseline risk assessment and a continuous risk assessment.
