8 HazCom Mistakes You May be Making … And How to Fix Them!

OSHA's Hazard Communication Standard is one of the most frequently cited standards and it’s easy to see why. With this multifaceted standard there are so many ways to make mistakes. First, 29 CFR 1910.1200 applies differently depending on whether you are an employer, chemical manufacturer, importer, or distributor. And it gets more detailed from there. You must identify hazardous chemicals employees are exposed to in the workplace, ensure proper labeling and accompanying safety data sheets, make safety data sheets accessible to employees, and inform and train employees on how to protect themselves from the hazards of the chemicals they work with.

In this webcast, we’ll look at:

  • 8 Common mistakes you may be making
  • Addressing issues we hear about every day, including secondary container labeling
  • What to do about mixtures
  • Who needs training
  • What exceptions apply
  • And much more!

A Q&A session will follow the event - Bring your HazCom questions!
