After presenting this webinar on June 24, 2015, Chuck Paulausky, CHMM, principal consultant and president of CP Safety & Environmental, LLC, discovered an error in his presentation. Employees’ use of disposable dust masks is not exempt from OSHA’s Respiratory Protection Standard, 29 CFR 1910.134, except that employers are not required to include in a written respiratory protection program employees who use them voluntarily.


Chuck Paulausky
is the principal Consultant and President for CP Safety & Environmental, LLC.  He is a Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) and OSHA-authorized outreach trainer.  Chuck has been working in EHS management since 1989, having developed and implemented numerous Respiratory Protection Programs, including performing exposure monitoring for several manufacturers.  Prior to starting CP Safety & Environmental in 2003, Chuck was EHS manager for a several manufacturing companies, with responsibility for facilities in Arizona, Texas, Utah, California, Minnesota, Washington, Europe, and Asia.
